FAQs - Internal Locking Removable Bollards

We offer two different Internal Locking Removable Bollard size options, including 4" x 60" schedule 40 steel pipe with 18" ground sleeve and a 6" x 60" schedule 40 steel pipe with 18" ground sleeve. Both options are standard 42" above ground.

With the Internal Locking Removable Bollard, when the pipe is twisted and removed, it does not leave a hole behind. This will ensure safety for workers, employees, and pedestrians.

When you need an an area blocked off (like an alley, pathway or trail) but need to allow temporary access. You may need to allow delivery, emergency, or maintenance vehicles for small periods of time, but most of the time the area needs to be blocked off.

Although we offer raw as well, we highly recommend the galvanized unit, especially for outdoor applications. Through galvanizing, we are able to prevent the unit from rusting. If rusted, bare pipe will rust to the bare floor sleeve and will no longer be "removable."

No, we do not have certified crash ratings for our standard Removable Locking Bollards. However, we do offer Removable applications for our C40, K4, and K12 Crash Rated Bollards. Contact us for more information.
